Your assistant’s share link

Every assistant can have its own hosted page — a public URL like olotalk.com/a/smile-dental where visitors chat with it directly. Nothing to install, no code, no website changes. If you can’t (or don’t want to) edit your site, this is your integration.

The share link is a full, real conversation with your assistant — same grounded answers, same citations, same languages as the assistant on your site.

Turn it on

  1. Open your assistant and go to the Install step.
  2. On the Share link card, click Enable share link.
  3. Copy the link, or download the QR code to print.

The address is created once from your assistant’s name and then never changes — a link you emailed or a QR code you printed keeps working, even if you turn the page off and on again.

Where it shines

  • No website at all — the share link is your assistant’s home.
  • Website you can’t edit — agency-built sites, locked platforms, “our web person is on holiday”.
  • Link in bio — Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.
  • Google Business Profile — add it as your website or booking link.
  • Email signatures and newsletters.
  • Print — the QR code on a menu, a flyer, a counter card, a poster.

You can use the share link and the on-site install at the same time — it’s the same assistant either way.

Good to know

  • It follows your assistant’s status. The page answers only while your assistant is live. If you pause the assistant, the page shows visitors a polite “temporarily unavailable” notice in your assistant’s language — it never breaks a printed QR code.
  • Replies count normally. Conversations on the share link use your plan’s messages exactly like conversations on your site.
  • It stays out of search engines. The page is not indexed, so it never competes with your own website in search results.
  • Turning it off is instant. Disable the share link on the same card and the page stops existing for visitors. Re-enable it later and the same address comes back.

FAQ

Can I choose the address? Not yet — it’s derived from your assistant’s name when you first enable the link.

Does the page show my logo? If your site has a logo we picked up during ingestion, it appears while the page loads.

Do visitors need an account? No. Anyone with the link can chat, in any language your assistant speaks.
